The Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles

The observatory was built in 1935 and has offered free admission ever since. It offers a wonderful view of the Hollywood sign, Los Angeles Basin, Downtown, and much more.

Santa Monica Pier

A large pier containing an amusement park, street performers, restaurants and shops. It also comes with stunning views of the Los Angeles skyline along with the Pacific Ocean.

Known for being the entertainment capital of Los Angeles, some of the best children's movies of all time were filmed here. It's filled with movie theme parks, studio tours, rides, and much more. 

Venice Beach

Famous worldwide for its beachfront boardwalk, it is a must-visit for beach lovers. It's filled with constant activity from street performers, people skating in the skatepark, and classic food trucks.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art contains an extensive collection of over 149,000 objects. One of its most famous pieces is, Public Art "Urban Light" as shown in the picture. Tickets are free for locals but there is a fee for foreigners.
